ON THE 5TH OF MAY A TRACK AND FIELD RELAY RACE OF THE SPORTSMEN OF THE BMSTU STARTS
The ceremony meeting and symbolical start of a track and field relay race devoted to the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War will be held on 5 May, 2010 near the BMSTU. The holding of such relay races is one of the traditions of celebration in honour of veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the BMSTU and dignities to soldiers from the BMSTU fallen during this war. This year the 16th traditional track and field relay race is held in the memories of heroes – citizen soldiers of 1941 and soldiers and officers of the 7th, 8th, 9th divisions of the People's Emergency Volunteer Corps formed on the territory of modern Central Administrative District of Moscow.
